The Rehobeth High School Guidance Department offers a program of guidance and counseling services to meet the diverse needs of all students . Each service is aimed at helping students learn and develop to their highest potential. Some of the services in the School Counseling Program are:

·                 Individual sessions to help students socially, emotionally and academically.

·                 Classroom lessons to help students acquire interpersonal/social skills, career awareness/exploration and study/organizational skills.

·                 Small groups addressing areas of need.

·                 Peer helping programs to help students in various situations.

·                 Conference with parents, both individually and with the team of teachers.

NCAA Eligibility Changes   

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CURRENT FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORE ATHLETES:

 

The initial-eligibility standards for NCAA Division I student-athletes are changing for the class of 2016 and beyond. Student-athletes entering a Division I or II college or university after August 1, 2016 (this year's 10th grade class), need to meet these new standards in order to practice, compete and receive aid in their first year of college. Some of the changes include:

Student   must have a 2.3 in NCAA core courses to compete 

 •

 

Student   must have a 2.0 in NCAA core courses to receive scholarships and/or practice

 •

 

Student   will not be allowed to re-take classes in senior year to improve their GPA

 •

 

Changes   to core class and test score requirements
